Este post es una consecuancia del que inició ayer dlfrsilver, que por lo visto es un contribuyente del proyecto CAPS para la preservación de juegos de Commodore Amiga.
Como ya sabéis, la inmensa mayoría de las imágenes de juegos que flotan por ahí, incluído este sitio, son versiones crackeadas o con trainers añadidos. Esto es porque ahora mismo son las únicas versiones conocidas.
Pero si queremos preservar debidamente la memoria de estos juegos necesitamos versiones tan inalteradas como sea posible. Por eso me gustaría que los usuarios de Amiga que todavía conserven algún juego original en disco, español o no, nos avisen para que podamos ayudarles a dumpearlo. En la mayoría de los casos, es un procedimiento sencillo, y los beneficios para el resto de la comunidad, sencillamente, lo valen.
Lo mismo vale para los usuarios de cualquier antiguo sistema que todavía conserven juegos inéditos o crean que pueden contribuir de alguna forma a esta iniciativa.

Risky Woods
After the war
Satan (one of my preferate hehe)
I own personaly Astro marine corps and Navy Moves in english unprotected
in original, i'll be able when preserved to share it with you as for the ones i have myself already.
LORNA from Topo soft is hardly required
VIAJE AL CENTRO DE LA TIERRA
All the spanish games you can have will be accepted.
If your original is modified, i will require you to image you disks with
tools that runs on real amigas like DIC and MFMWARP that i can
mail to those who can help with ALL explanations needed.
Karnevi , if you wan tthe IPF of spanish games tell me how to give them
to you thanks !!!

Ya habéis oído. Traduzco para los que no entiendan el inglés:
Los originales de Amiga que más lleva buscando dlfrsilver son "Lorna" y "Viaje al centro de la Tierra", pero si alguien tiene cualquier original en buenas condiciones de algún otro juego , que se lo comunique a él, al proyecto CAPS (links en el post que he comentado) o a nosotros mismos, para ver si ya está preservado o para echar una mano.

Once Pasti will be enabled, i'll make images of these games.
As far as i know, Navy moves is heavily protected. Narco must be
the same....

The good news is that both games works great !
navy moves is a filed ICE-packed version with no more nice intro music
and is less protected than the retail/compilation version....
The intro screen is different with only the schwarzy guy...
Bad news is that they are protected by copylock protection i guess.
Narco Police is more protected than Navy moves :-\
And the problem is that Steem imager can't read correctly the protections,
so i have to wait for Pasti to image protected disks.
I have also won ASTRO MARINE CORPS retail version with his box and
disks !!!!! (AMIGA Version)

algun original q otro escondido en la manga

Navegando mientras buscaba roms de c64 para emular en mi n-gage me he encontrado con esta pagina, soy un antiguo usuario de Amiga, cacharro q me trae muy buenos recuerdos, de hecho recuerdos muy importantes.
Bien al grano, tengo juegos originales para amiga son pocos y son los siguientes.

y puede q un par de ellos mas pero no se donde( es una pena pues tenia unos 20 0 30 originales pero fueron perdiendose entre los amigotes ).
Ademas tendre entre 300 o 500 no originales.
Otra cosa dispongo de un Amiga 500 con su ampliacion de memoria, tengo rota la unidad de disco, y no dispongo de monitor. ¿Hay algun sitio donde pueda comprar algun monitor compatible o la unidad de 3 1/2? Bueno, vamos por partes:
1) Muchísimas gracias por contestar a este hilo. Eres el primer usuario con juegos originales que se pone en contacto con nosotros desde que iniciamos este hilo. Comprobaremos si estos juegos están ya dumpeados y llegado el caso te diremos como puedes ayudarnos. Por lo pronto, si tu Amiga esta averiado, o primero que se me ocurre es que busques por Internet la utilidad Disk2FDI. Si tienes dos disqueteras en tu PC y Windows 95/98, basta con eso para crear imágenes en formato FDI o ADF de tus viejos discos. Ya hablaremos.
2) Sobre los otros temas, mira en eBay España. Es un sitio de subastas por Internet y me suena quie haceuna semana alguien se vendía una disquetera externa de Amiga. Seguro que ahí también encuantras un sustituto para tu mando averiado. Si no, prueba en rastrillos de tu ciudad o en tiendas de segunda mano tipo Cash Converters 8los hay en muchas ciudades medianas y grandes).

Well F16 combat pilot is preserved, Dragon's lair singe castle too,
dragon's lair 2 also, powerdrift too.
The main pb to get the IPF from caps is to prove you own the originals
and while i can provide to piku F16 combat pilot and powerdrift,
I just can't ask CAPS member the games dragon's lair singe castle and dragon's lair 2 unless Piku sells me these games i'll then be able to dump
them with my configuration (A1200 customized) and then get the IPF files.
The main trouble here piku is that An A1200 with a drive that *can dump* the games is required, pb not all drives can dump the games.....
So Piku if you read me, if you can send me a mail to make an arrangement about the games, i'll be really pleased ^^

A new user has joined our board recently, and with our advice he just made copies of his original Atari ST version of "Viaje al centro de la Tierra". This original, previously unseen, has also a very annoying copy protection scheme, based on a table of codes visible only through a red tinted plastic (Opera Soft used a similar one on both "Poli Diaz" and "Rescate en el Golfo").
Karnevi has been sent copies of the ST images and the codes. If you are interested on them, you can contact him directly (e-mail or PM) or wait for him to update the "Viaje al centro de la Tierra" game card.
